What Does the Board Do?
The Co-op Board of Directors plays a critical role in guiding the future of our co-operatively owned natural foods store. Elected by our members, board members provide oversight, strategic vision, and governance to ensure the Co-op remains financially healthy, mission-driven, and community-focused.
Board Responsibilities
Serving on the board is a rewarding opportunity to support local food systems, cooperative values, and community-driven business. Board members are responsible for:
Governance & Leadership – Ensuring the Co-op upholds its mission and values.
Strategic Planning – Helping set long-term goals and initiatives.
Financial Oversight – Monitoring budgets and financial performance.
Community Engagement – Acting as ambassadors for the Co-op within our broader community.
Collaboration – Working closely with fellow board members and leadership to make informed decisions.

The Co-op Board of Directors invites members to attend monthly meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 6:15 PM, either in person at 908 W. Main or via Zoom. To attend by either method, please email board@bozo.coop by the Tuesday prior to the meeting. Questions or comments for the Board may also be sent to this address at any time.
