Apple a Day
Every time you buy a bulk apple at the Co-op, you're giving back.
We donate 20 cents from every bulk apple sold to a different local nonprofit each month — supporting 12 incredible community organizations each year.
How We Choose Recipients
Our Community Giving Committee meets annually to select recipients whose missions align with our values: respecting the food, the people, and the place. Many of these groups have long-standing partnerships with the Co-op.
At this time, we do not accept formal applications or schedule meetings about eligibility.

2025 Recipients
* Valid on bulk apples. Not valid on bagged apples. Donation numbers are calculated by pounds of apples sold and based on the average weight of one apple.
