Who We Are
We exist to build a stronger community through good food and shared ownership.
The Bozeman Community Food Co-op has been part of this community since 1979. We're a cooperatively-owned grocery store with two locations, built by and for our 30,000+ member-owners — people who believe good food and shared values can drive meaningful change.
What makes us different? We're not owned by shareholders or a corporation. We're owned by the people who shop here. That means every decision we make prioritizes community over profit, sustainability over shortcuts, and nourishment over convenience.
Our Values
Rooted – In our community, our local food systems, and our local economy.
Intentional – With our products, our operations, and our messaging.
Neighborly – A welcoming hub where people of all backgrounds feel included.
Nourishing – We provide fresh, healthy options without compromise.

Our Vision
We envision a thriving, community-driven Co-op that deepens our impact, strengthens our relevance, and cements our place as a cornerstone of our local economy.
By prioritizing sustainability and economic resilience, we aim to nourish our community and contribute to a more just and connected food system that’s powered by the people who own our store.
