This week, we're turning the spotlight on our wellness makers: the soap crafters, tallow renderers, herbalists, and beekeepers who are quietly building something real, often out of their own kitchens and backyards.

Amaltheia Organic Dairy — Goat Milk Lotion

This lotion started as a fix for a very specific problem: hands raised on cheesemaking and constantly dried out from being in water. What began as a batch for family and friends found its way to the farmers market, and the Co-op was the first retail store to pick it up. Windrift Hill — Goat Milk Soap

Windrift Hill started when Deena Maier, an occupational therapist, kept seeing people struggle with skin issues that medication wasn't solving. Her research led her to goat's milk, and she began making soap in her own kitchen in Conrad, Montana.
