Earth Day Specials:

• Bulk Discount for Members – From April 22nd-28th, all Co-op members will receive 20% off bulk items through our exclusive FoodEnews coupon! It’s the perfect opportunity to stock up on pantry staples while reducing waste.

• Compost for Your Garden – We’re bringing sustainability full circle by offering free compost in our parking lot on April 17 - until it's gone!! We’ll have 8 yards (about 1,600 gallons) of compost, which can serve around 320 customers! 

• Earth Day Giveaway – Our Earth Day Giveaway will be available to enter from April 10th - 23rd on social media. Winner will be selected at random on April 24th! The giveaway consists of all products sustainable, eco-friendly, and perfect for spring! 

gather & GROW with Happy Trash Can Composting

• Join Ryan Green, co-owner of Happy Trash Can Curbside Composting, on April 16th from 6:30–7:30 PM in the Co-op West Main Training Room to learn the importance of composting and its beneficial effects on the health of our community and local soils. This workshop will cover the basics of composting, why it's a key tool in diverting emissions and addressing climate change and background on HTC's work over the last 10 years leading the charge on closing the loop in Gallatin Valley.

Community Partners Making a Difference

• Happy Trash Can: Our year-round composting partner, supplying the compost for this event.

• Owenhouse Ace Hardware: – Donated 40 five-gallon buckets so members can easily haul compost home for their gardens. We’re providing these buckets at no cost!

• Greenspace Landscaping: Supplied plywood for our compost station, a sustainable alternative to tarps that prevents microplastic pollution while protecting native grasses.
