Sweet raspberries and spicy chipotle peppers come together to create the perfect sauce to drizzle over appetizers, meats, or any of your favorite foods.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp olive oil
4 chipotle peppers* - finely chopped
2 cloves garlic - minced
4 tsp adobo sauce*
12 oz fresh raspberries
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
In a saucepan over medium heat add in the olive oil and add the chipotle peppers, cook for 3-5 minutes.
Next, add the garlic and adobo sauce and bring it to a simmer.
Add the raspberries into the sauce and stir until soft.
Next, add the vinegar, salt, and sugars and stir together.
Simmer the mixture until it has thickened and reduced by about half.
Then transfer the sauce into a heatproof bowl and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Finally, serve and enjoy!
Notes
You can store any leftovers of this chipotle raspberry sauce in an airtight container in your fridge for up to 1 week. You can also freeze this sauce in your freezer for up to 2 months.
