Blackberry Gochujang Glaze

This bold blackberry gochujang glaze combines sweet, tangy, and umami-rich flavors for a vibrant, sticky finish perfect on roasted chicken.

Ingredients

  • 3 ¾ cups blackberries, thawed

  • 3 ¾ tbsp agave nectar

  • 2 tbsp tamari

  • 3 ¾ tbsp water

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 cup gochujang paste

  • 3 ¾ tbsp garlic, minced

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine blackberries, agave nectar, tamari, water, rice vinegar, and garlic. Blend until smooth.

  • Transfer to a bowl and stir in gochujang paste and minced garlic until fully incorporated.

  • Use immediately as a glaze for roasted chicken, or store refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Serving Suggestion

Brush over chicken during the last 10–15 minutes of roasting for a glossy, flavorful finish.
